The universe of ‘Catan: Starfarers’ is available for 25% off thanks to Prime Day. Save $25 on Amazon as you explore and settle the galaxy, searching for resources as you go, in this futuristic board game set in the third millennium.
“Starfarers” is a galactic twist on the classic “Catan” European-style board game, where you not only compete with other players, but you also implement strategies. In this case, you may find it useful to befriend some aliens, create trading alliances, or increase resource production to help you explore the universe.
This edition of ‘Starfarers’ is significantly revised from the original spacefaring game, including new atmospheric illustrations, redesigned game components and a few refined rules. But whether you’re new to the game or have played many iterations of “Catan”, you can probably pick up the rules in just a few minutes.

Save 25% on “Catan: Starfarers” in this incredible Prime Day deal. The game, a space-based variation of the classic board game “Catan”, allows at least three to four players to explore and settle the galaxy in a futuristic setting, in the middle of the third millennium.
The base version of “Starfarers” allows for three or four players at a time, while expansion packs (sold separately) will allow for five to six players. Regardless of the number of eager space explorers joining you at the table, game time is roughly 120 minutes.
The game’s makers say the experience of “Starfarers” will vary considerably with each session. If you want to play with your friends or family in different locations, it’s also possible to set up a session via video conference, the game’s makers say. Alternatively, you may consider joining a “Catan” tournament.
Whatever you choose to do, the galaxy is yours to explore. The game is rated ages 10 plus and is a well-known family classic series you can add to your gaming library.
